How to Become a Canadian Doctor

To be a fully licensed physician in Canada you will need:

  • A medical degree from a W.H.O recognized school.

  • A medical degree from a U.S. or Canadian medical school accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education or Committee on Accreditation of Canadian Medical Schools.

  • Certification from the College of Family Physicians of Canada, College des medecins du Quebec or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

  • Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada.
